In addition, Ashley has been trained in PROMPT, an innovative therapy technique used to help patients form sounds and words through direct and indirect manipulation of the speech structures (e.g., lips, tongue, jaw). The PROMPT method is a well-regarded treatment technique particularly for children who have apraxia of speech. Ashley has demonstrated the necessary level of skill and experience to be listed in the SLP Directory for the Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association of North America (CASANA).
Ashley believes in the importance of a positive and fun therapy environment centered around each individual’s needs. She enjoys working with young children and their families to provide personalized therapy to achieve their communication goals. Ashley will work closely with you and your child to evaluate, diagnose, and formulate individualized therapy for each child.
